The client
VA Tech Wabag Ltd is an Indian multinational company headquartered in Chennai, India. Founded in Breslau in 1924, the company is a pure-play water technology company focussed on water treatment for municipal and industrial users.
The challenge
When we were handed the project, the Wabag website had a text-heavy interface that was not user-friendly. The client wanted us to revamp their website with a refreshing new interface to improve user experience.
We got creative
- The website was built to be SEO-friendly to ensure maximum visibility on search engines. Browser compatibility has been ensured, as a significant chunk of visitors to the website would be on older versions of web browsers. The website is also built to be responsive for devices of all shapes and sizes
- Revamping and giving it a new and better UI was intended to make it a corporate communications website that would speak to:
- upper management employees from other organizations
- potential candidates looking to work with Wabag
- investors interested in Wabag, or those already invested in Wabag and looking for updates on the company’s financials
- The “Investors” section was challenging as it contained extensive amounts of data that Wabag was obligated to provide its investors. We packaged this into a presentable UI with easy navigations to help visitors find the information they need
