Apollo Hospitals is an Indian hospital chain headquartered in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, with a presence in India, Bangladesh, Kuwait, and Qatar. Widely recognised as the pioneer of private healthcare in India, Apollo Hospitals has kept pace with the rapid advancement in medical technology worldwide, and introduced several cutting-edge medical innovations in India.
At the time we were retained by Apollo, their existing site was running on a custom PHP without proper site architecture. They wanted Influx to completely revamp their vast website to be fully responsive, scalable and SEO-friendly. They also wanted:
Adopted a “Mobile First” approach resulting in better UX on mobile devices. This optimised mobile reading for patient-case studies and medical journals.
A part of the brief was for every patient visiting Apollo from a foreign country to have a single-point access to the website. For this, Influx created a platform with one dashboard displaying various vital metrics based on the profile of the user who logged in.
We also customised a content management system for Apollo’s 1500-page website. Keeping in mind the rapid growth and advances in healthcare today, Influx provided a scalable website infrastructure that would keep it from crashing at any point of time.
We also custom-built a referral and loyalty management system to track every referral and referee.
Our most successful initiative for this client was the search marketing exercise (SEM) we conducted in 2011, which consistently yielded ranking keywords, placing first in almost all hospital-related searches. We have also handled their social media engagement.
